🌎Major European AccessibleEU event on accessible urban design: Smart Cities: Enhancing Urban Design and Mobility for All.

📎Sílvio Gil Martins says that on Tuesday, July 2nd, a major European AccessibleEU event on accessible urban design will take place: Smart Cities: Enhancing Urban Design and Mobility for All. It will be at the headquarters of Fundación ONCE / Inserta, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

📌Jesús Hernándes, Director of European Accessibility, will open our next event hashtag#AccessibleEU on urban design and hashtag#accessibility: Smart Cities: Enhancing Urban Design and Mobility for All.

🔍We will identify the challenges faced by urban planning in the 21st century, in which factors such as sustainability and accessibility are defined as fundamental, not only for inclusion but also for quality, and we will learn about the strategies that are being used, for the design and construction of sustainable and inclusive environments from all points of view.

✏️Martín de los Heros, Director of the Residential Department at MORPH-ESTUDIO, will also be with us at our event on hashtag#accessibility in urban design.

He will participate in the first panel of the day, on 'Smart Human Cities: Technology at the Service of Urban Design and Mobility Design'.

✏️Sigbjørn Råsberg will lead the panel on urban planning and urban design during the AccessibleEU event on Smart Cities in Madrid, where we will learn about how to use urban design to improve accessibility.

How to involve citizens in decision-making to make a city for all? Kristine Andreassen will make her contribution based on her experience in Jönköping, winner of the Access City Award in 2021
